Hi there!
To keep things short and simple, this space here is being developed solely for constructive purposes only. What do I mean by that? I am, within the time period for which I have an interest in photography, going to post up some of my shots here, open for the world to comment, criticize (in a constructive way of course) and hopefully, make you either, CRY, LAUGH or be emotional in some way or other when you see them.
Yes, I know that I may be hoping for too much, but that's the thing annit? You hope for the best and even if you fall just short of it, you say to yourself,
"Ah well, wasn't ALL that bad now annit?"
This is going to be a place for me to gather what you guys think about some of the shots that I have been, and will be taking over the years for which my eyes will continue to serve me.
I, for one, till somebody is willing to tutor me, am not a big photoshop person.
Actually, scratch that! Try this on for size...
"I DON'T KNOW HOW TO USE PHOTOSHOP AT ALL!!!"
As embarrassing as it may be, this is true... In this digital age, I have seemed to have fallen aback when it comes to digitizing my darkroom... So bear with me as I go along learning from the only resource I have (YouTube)...
But then again, no matter what you do to a photo, the question I beg to ask is, what were you thinking when you released that shutter? I, for one, believe that there are no bad photos to begin with (except for those with the lens cap on)...
Not everyone can be psychic...
Not everyone can be a professional boxer...
Not everyone can be a rocket scientist...
Not everyone can be a lottery winner...
But EVERYONE can be a photographer...
*Waiting for the rounds and rounds of attacks and the humiliation of being proven wrong when my shots actually do get posted up here*
But before you jump down to that comments section, do hear me out on this one...
Some of my best images aren't in JPEG format..
They aren't even in RAW...
And nope, not even in MPEG...
They are the images that are engrained into every single cell of my living being...
And those, my friends, are images that can never be shared, deleted, posted up or even, be deleted... They won't even stick with me because I'll inevitably, be gone... But they will, most indefinitely, be a part of me, for as long as this immortal soul shall live...
It isn't about aperture,
nor shutter speed,
or ISO,
or white balance...
NOT even about what camera,
lens,
flash,
reflector,
or softbox you use...
Because, lucky as we are; for me to write and for you to be reading this, we were designed with;
The best piece of glass,
our eyes.
The best sensor,
our brain.
And the best format,
our memories.
Now ask yourself that very same question...
"Can EVERYBODY be a photographer?"
